Description
US-Sorted is a smartphone app that helps keep people up to date with latest news and social media. It also includes personal targets, automatic tracking of walking and running through the phone or a wristband. It has step tracking global, monthly, private leagues and a chat feature to keep in touch with friends and colleagues creating a digital community around wellbeing.
The project was funded by the University of Salford and allows people to create a friendly competition, win prizes and think more about active, healthy lifestyles. The app is designed to increase fitness and welllbeing awareness and empower people with just a basic smartphone. The project also partners with the mental health charity Mind Salford to create wellness content and make charitable donations to Mind for every 1000 steps recorded in the app (until the budget expires). There is also an US-Sorted YouTube channel which feeds into the app. The content is created by the US-Sorted Community.
The app uses Apple HealthKit and/or Garmin Connect as it’s source of activity data.

Version 3.0.4
In the new version, we bring you a brand new design and interface and some great new features including new digital badges and scannable codes. We also introduce a new chat feature to support the private leagues and allow you to build your own community.
