Best place in the world

I love Val d’Isere it’s my second home. Fantastic runs, people, places to eat and party. Beautiful village and three resorts to really get your fill of the snow (which they maintain fantastically). You are guaranteed a good time!
Come see for yourself - but please wear a helmet and ski/board with respect to others

Very good map until it crashes

This has some amazing features, like live gps tracked buses and the interactive piste map. Unfortunately the app crashes regularly throughout the day while recording (/tracking). Sometimes this is a soft crash where it just loses gps connection for half a run and then recovers, even if it usually has no issues with gps on that piste. Other times this is a full app crash and nothing further is recorded until you force restart the app. Thankfully all skiing recorded before the app crashes is saved, but still it’s not really a good feature when it is so unreliable. The unpredictability is unfortunate. The direction of the pistes would also be very helpful for someone new to Val - it’s sometimes unclear whether a piste goes from lift A to lift B or vice versa. A small arrow would be enough. Merci

Battery Killer

The functionality of the app is great - real time data on queues, what’s open or closed, where you are if you get lost, and what you’ve been doing all day. Plus emergency data, weather, piste map.
But my battery would not last the day - it’s a 4 month old iPhone- so you need to take a charger or risk your phone going dead.
Meant I could not use the app and went back to Ski Tracks (5% battery used v 52% for this app) and paper map.
Great shame as the app is otherwise good
