Ratings and Reviews
The App is helpful. It’s well set out and self explanatory, and compared to some Apps much more mobile phone friendly. Easy to check your balance: it’s got a helpful graphic that’s shows what you have used of your credit limit and what you can still use, so no maths needed. Also shows you your minimum monthly payment and the date due although you can repay any sum you want after covering the monthly payment. The repayment options are easy and very quick to use and once you’ve entered a card once you won’t have to again. Do be aware though it takes up to two days for a payment to register so if you’re intending to use your card within that amount again do make a payment a couple before you need to use that sum on your card again. If you have any problems the phone number to ring for Vanquis is displayed so no searching about looking for it. You can get a full digital or paper statement monthly too which explains any charges e.g after using abroad, or interest on your card. The only tiny issue I’ve found irritating is I once accidentally missed a payment and it locks your account. I had to call them: once I had it immediately unlocked and I could make payment of the amount of my choice. To be fair the phone is answered really quickly and it was dealt with easily but if I had one minor gripe that would be it but not enough to loose a Star over 😄... so five stars: the App is pretty much idiot proof which suits me fine...

Signed up for my Vanquis credit card, was accepted, got my phone call straight away to finish the last bit of my application, spoke to a very polite and helpful man who talked me through everything I needed to know, my card and pin arrived in the time frame given, downloaded the app which was the easiest and most straight forward app to use, easy and quick to make payments, keep an eye on what you’ve spent, your balance, and what’s owed, but with their ‘£10’ repayment a month I mean you couldn’t ask for a less greedy money grabbing credit company, unlike others whom Wack your interest fees up if a payment isn’t made but they don’t show an amount of which has to be paid ‘monthly’ or weekly whatever it may be unlike vanquis. Couldn’t be more happy. And would recommend any one looking for a credit card for what ever reason to use them! If your payments are made of ‘£10’ a month the offer to up your credit spending limit. So what more can you ask for? A company who looks after its customers, No hidden fees or information which unlike other companies don’t inform you off that later catches you out down the line!! So if your wanting a credit card even if it is to build your credit score don’t be caught out by the other companies! Go to vanquis!!

Getting sick of this card had so many problems lately, letting companies take money out of my account even though I’ve not bought anything from them, without my authorisation (so unauthorised transaction) been paid by back vanquis I think, getting you to give personal details over text ad they say they didn’t have your email on the system so could help me with my transaction but send me my statements every month on what I’ve got to pay they are never late with that though eventually they phoned and admitted that they had my email on the system so what was the problem, lately I’ve had problem getting all the information up on my account to what I’ve bought or had refunded or even paid them nothing really mentioned about that on the phone or resolved just says going to speak to someone and leave you on hold for over 19 mins glad they phoned me, I went to them as they had good reviews but I’ve had nothing but problems always paid my bill early and most times in full so it’s clear, lately I’ve had problems trying to log in if it’s not going round in circles and you have to cancel it then it doesn’t connect to their server at their end and comes up with a problem please try again later after you’ve tried about 3 times to get into your account I think enough is enough maybe time to look for another card not had any problems with my other credit card line this. And I don’t wNt a call back about this I’m sick of talking about it, thanks.
