App Functionality
There is an issue with the functionality of the app.
If you scan a product and rate as thumbs up or thumbs down and submit no problem.
BUT you then scan another product and an image of the previous product appears with the name of the new product you have just scanned. I thought this was just a one off but it happens pretty consistently to be a one off. Very annoying so the app that you are paying £19 a year for needs to be improved. Otherwise a nice idea.
DONT DOWNLOAD, NOT FREE TRIAL AS STATED
Downloaded this app as it said it was a two month free trial as I wanted to scan a product to see if it was vegan however when you scan it it doesn’t actually tell you this you have to guess. I deleted it instantly and it was only later when I saw Apple had emailed me telling me they had taken £20 out of my account I realised there was a problem. I have now looked through the other reviews to see that there are countless other innocent parties downloading this thinking they were also getting a free trial.
It is absolutely appalling that they can get away with this! I can not afford to just loose £20... I wouldn’t mind so much but the app doesn’t actually work so a total WASTE OF MONEY!!!!
Doesn’t really work...
Downloaded this app as a helping hand as I’ve recently embarked on a vegan-based diet switch up. The first item I scanned wasn’t recognised, but I was a bit disappointed to realise that I had to guess whether the product was vegan myself, and either give it a thumbs up or thumbs down. That was an instant thumbs down for the app to be honest. I thought I’d be able to check if a product was vegan by scanning the barcode, just like in My Fitness Pal where you can scan a barcode to find out the calories, carbs, protein etc of a product. I’m still on the hunt for an app that does this, as this one isn’t it. Wouldn’t use or recommend, sorry.
