Not multi user friendly
Whilst I want all the stats my other half only wants her weight and isn’t interested in the app. This causes an issue as the scales store both weigh ins and put them both into my account (I have both accounts in my phone). Even though her weight is several stones less than mine it isn’t clever enough to assign to her, I only get the ’significant change’ message.
The only way is for me to deleted her weights.
There needs to be an option to move the weight to another account.
I got this app to go with my new smart scales and it paired easily then linked to my Fitbit app too. It gives lots of data but I have two issues...
1. When it shows the meaning of data on a scale the arrow seems to point to the middle of a section regardless of whether you are in the middle or close to one end or other. Small thing but could be improved.
2. I’m not entirely happy with the weight interpretation. Even though I am green (normal) for all other measurements (except for bone mass which is high) my weight is yellow (‘high’) and I need to lose 7lbs in order to be green for weight. It would be good to understand the figures a bit better and how they interact then I might understand why my weight is classed as high. If I lose the 7lbs I’d have a BMI of 21 and I’d be at the very top end of ‘normal’ weight... if I dropped to the bottom end of ‘normal’ my BMI would be 17.2... that’s surely quite dangerously underweight?!
Men, however, have it easier... my husband has a higher BMI than mine currently yet his weight is green. As if many women aren’t already lacking in body confidence!!!
Missing multi user features
At home there’s several of us that is using the app and the weight scale. So if one of us goes and checks how it’s doing but there’s data from another person still in the app there’s no way for me to either assign mine to me and the other to my friend’s email so that they have it on their phone or just leave the results in the machine so that the other person could add the data to their phone. Other than that the app is okay
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
