Simple, easy to understand, great for editing simple gaming footage.
I’m using this editing software to edit some gaming footage for ps4 and so far it’s really simple and quick to work with. Only trouble was I’d sunk 3 hours into editing and then when I went to export I had to pay for a full version for £20. I only paid because I’d already put a lot of work in so I’m curious to see how well the software performs for future projects. Personally would have given 5* except i think it was slightly devious and a bit of an exploit to charge when you go to export.
Main benefit for me was ease of use
I needed to edit a video recording for a club I belong to and after spending a lot of time trying to learn ShotCuts I gave up and bought this simple to use app instead. I feel the £20 cost is justified as this system is very easy to use but can still be used to produce interesting effects and edits.
Pay £20 or lose your work
I was lead to believe that there's a free basic app version and I would have to pay if I wanted extra functionality.
The free app version is unusable though and after you spend a considerable amount of time on editing the video, when you export it you get a huge red thing on top of your video. It's so ugly and not a 'water'mark that I spent 10 minutes cry-laughing when I saw it.
I felt very scammed given that the ratings are 4 and the interface is so bad but had to pay since had a deadline to finish the work. Don't be like me - update your OS timely and use imovie.
