Good game, getting more complicated all the time but you have to spend money to compete effectively.
I have read many reviews some of which I agree with some not. the fact is it’s a game you can play without spending cash but it’s very difficult and slow to progress. the only way to be effective is to buy mega packs. that said you need to be in a kingdom that has strong clans otherwise you loose all competitions but strong clans can be hard on small to medium sized players in my experience as they want you to max out in comps or get kicked and you can’t progress if your not in a clan. Some clans try to control a particular kingdom and won’t let anyone in that is not a big enough influence player which spoils the game for me.

Please remember that there are many ways to reduce the time required for different processes in the game, and finding these ways is a part of the strategy. I used to play this game a few years back when it first released and it was one of the best games I had found on the App Store however my old phone had broken beyond repair and ever since I upgraded to a newer model the game no longer works and then I contacted the customer support looking for a fix and I was greeted with no fix but generic replies such as “try uninstall and reinstall” “try use a WiFi connection which are the obvious things to try before contacting support then they tried to blame my WiFi for the issues even though everything else works fine and I admit I don’t have lightning fast WiFi but it can handle my Xbox series x so why it can’t handle a phone is beyond me and then they told me to buy a new phone to try and fix the issue telling me it was a device issue or a regional issue even though an older model worked fine before as well as this device works for everything else and hundreds of others have had this issue I recommend you avoid this game and go to clash of clans instead it’s much more reliable with a much greater customer support if plarium get back to me and fix the issue I shall remove my review but they probably won’t like all the other companies

This game was great at the start however now it is just a money pit. If you want to get anywhere and be able to fight you have to spend money to keep up otherwise it’s slaughter and just FarmVille. I played for 6 years and fell into the money pit trap . Plarium doesn’t care about its players only on how to squeeze even more money out of you adding more features that you have to spend money to even achieve. Causing more blue circles. Rather then fixing the lag they put bigger updates in that cause even more blue circles which sometimes lead to having all the resources you buy to be stolen when your not able to reshield and troops lost. Not only this people able to spend big money get special treatment to have gear in the game that someone who spends maybe £300 a month has no chance of getting. The game has been totally ruined . If your just starting out I wouldn’t bother as it has been made impossible to catch up and no clans want players that aren’t maxed . And as soon as you get close another money grab gets added.
