Great idea, but ....
... it has crashed 4 times since I loaded it today, and each time I reboot it it takes ages (in child terms) to load the telly channels, during which time you can't do anything else.
The books would be better if there was audio narration, and maybe some learn-to-read educative value built-in.
I downloaded a few programmes to watch while we're away (in UK) this weekend, hopefully they will play offline, unlike some other reviewers. Can't see any easy way to find downloads though, unless you tag them individually as faves.
In summary, plenty of opportunities for Virgin to improve.

Hi, thanks for your review!
Are you able to confirm exactly what happened prior to the crashing of the app?
Just to let you know, you can find your downloads with the search icon on the right hand side under settings (the magnifying glass), and then click downloads!
Thanks for your feedback re audio narration, we love hearing from customers about how we can improve the experience.

Why Launch Something This Poor?
Dear Virgin, this app can only harm your reputation! I have been a customer for 15 plus years and generally speaking I praise your services over your competitors, however, whilst I applaud the idea of free, no advert, children's games and TV, this app simply doesn't work. After waiting an aeon (in child years) for TV programmes to load, when eventually you get into the app the majority of the games crash your device. I have downloaded the app to an iPad2, iPad mini & an iPhone 8 plus, the app does not remember my preferences between devices and they have all crashed on the first attempt to play Yeti, my 4 year old has then long since moved on to other apps. Users, I would wait an aeon until the developers of this app have been given the budget to make it work properly.

Hi there. We are not aware of any known issues with the app and we're unable to replicate your problem on any iOS device. Can you confirm exactly what is happening when it crashes? Do you have the latest iOS update? Have you tried the TV shows or books?
Great - but doesn’t work after a while without WiFi connection
This has a good number of tv shows available to download - in our case, Thomas, Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig - and some good drawing games that kept our 3 year old occupied on a car journey. However, if you’re downloading content thinking you can use this somewhere with no WiFi, say for a week away camping - don’t bother as it doesn’t work. The app requires web access - so after a few days it simply buffers then won’t start without net access.
As probably everyone has said- if this worked it would be great, but it can’t do what it seems designed for.
