Virtual Fireplace 3D 4+

Does just what I want - a small selection of realistic looking fires with stereo sounds. Lovely.

But ... “sleep never” should mean that but it quits after about 4 or 5 minutes and has to be continually restarted. Fix that and it’s 5 stars.

I'm warming to this animated screensaver. Despite my central heating, it's pleasant to see an open fire, and this fits the bill, warming the cockles of my heart while not using the iPad .
Turned off the sound though, which, although realistic, can be irritating.

This is really nice: but I hope they will develop it, because it needs more interesting stuff if it's to sustain one's interest for more than a minute or two.
I can watch a real fire for half an hour, and become really, really relaxed, but this would need some narrative development, such as burning down, having wood thrown on (with lots of sparks), smoking too much, then burning the smoke away.
Red-hit panels develop of really bright cinders, then collapse.
In the end it could even die out (optionally).
I'd like to be able to zoom in properly, pan a bit, frame up an interesting region, and (given its says it's 3D) change my viewpoint. In fact, a fire which you could turn, like a 3D object, would be wonderful. Then select a speed of rotation, so you 'fly round it', more quickly or imperceptibly slowly.
More variety in the sound. More choices in the logs or coal – I could go on forever.
But I think that if you could do this, I'd be willing to buy in- app scenarios, on and on, as long as they were reasonably cheap.
I'd like to think you could improve this, not once, but on and on...
Finally, I don't have Retina, but am assuming it would be sharper if I did? At the moment it's barely detailed enough, somewhat soft in my opinion.
