The Vitality Member App allows you to:

Collecting your activity data

If you link Apple Health to the Vitality Member App, step data will be automatically sent to Vitality every 2 hours. Workouts and mindfulness activity data will be sent once the activity has been completed. Other connected devices (such as Garmin) will send activity data once the activity has been completed.

Important Information

You need to be a Vitality member to use this app.

Log into the app using your Member Zone username and password. If you don’t have a Member Zone account yet, register on the app using your Vitality membership number.

Missing points

Recently the app has been very slow at registering my points, this used to update throughout the day, now it only seems to update the following day. I have also had the odd day missed where no points have been rewarded even though they all are there to see in my apple health, that points have been achieved. Also sometimes I have to refresh my page 6 or 7 times before the points are added. This only became an issue around Christmas time before then it was a quick and excellent app.

Thanks for the review, it can just take up to 48 hours for points to show after you have synced the app. If you do notice that you are still missing points after this time, please drop us a message on Social Media so that we can get this sorted. Alex

I am sick and tired of this app and this company. For the past few months, my points are always either wrong or simply not there, even though I religiously workout 5 times or more a week. I called up last week to have my points updated, and the man on the phone kindly obliged, but I did not appreciate him feeling the need to read out my 70%/60% max heart rate, and what I need to do to get activity points, when THESE ARE THINGS I ALREADY KNOW! The inaccurate points isn’t to do with my ‘inability’ to read instructions, but it’s to do with the app simply not working! I have unfortunately been with vitality for over a year because my workplace uses it. I know what I need to do to get points. I know what activities count towards points and what don’t. I don’t need to have this explained to me like this is my first day with this scheme, when I’m simply stating that my points are wrong and have been for months.
And I’m sorry but when I have to work 9 hour shifts every day, followed by an intense workout that I don’t necessarily want to do, but have to in order to pay for my Apple Watch, the last thing I want to do is have to call up customer services to have my points fixed each time, whilst simultaneously being told it’s my fault. You guys are a complete joke. I hope to god my company finds a new healthcare provider. Get stuffed.

Logging in never easy!

The app is great apart from one issue, every time I get logged out, it takes forever to log back in again! Please can you integrate Touch ID?! Or not have to make me log in so frequently?
When I forget my password (happens frequently as the format required is different to all others so my usual variations don’t work - I know we aren’t meant to have the same/similar passwords but what proportion of people honestly doesn’t?) I have to find my membership number and once I have gone through the whole reset process, I then try log in and am always met with an error message, something has gone wrong, retry or log out. Neither option ends up getting me anywhere so I have to wait longer to use the app. Wouldn’t be an issue if I had the same problem with all my other apps and this was just how things worked, but being used to the convenience of having whatever I need with a brief application of my fingertip, or a simple passcode at the very most, makes this my most inconvenient app experience!! First world problems, I know, because I can log on eventually, but as I know it’s possible for it to be easier, it would just be great if it was!
