File names messing up
I Love this app, I use it for all my videos. I loved that it automatically put shows into playlists. However the most recent update is very disappointing the app no longer does the automatic playlist it also doesn’t display the file name (for some reason it goes by the title in the details box in properties) and so I either have to change all the file names for the videos in the folder or in the playlist and even then they don’t arrange alphabetically. Would have given 5 stars but this change is annoying.
Highly recommend! Hugely underrated!
I’ve been using this app for a while now. And to be honest it’s my most used app on my phone. Even above Instagram and that’s saying something. I used to have an iPod with thousands of songs. However now I use the drag and drop feature from my computer desktop to my phone using this app. It’s painless simple and I couldn’t ask for a better app. It’s video playback is excellent for those home videos too. It’s just like the pc version of VLC player and it’s very intuitive to use.
I don’t often write reviews and I wasn’t even asked to write this review, but I just had to today because the update is excellent and this app doesn’t get enough appreciation. I love this app because it helps me take thousands of songs on my phone just by dragging them onto the browser. It’s very easy to create playlist too. Which is probably the main feature I’m most thankful for. Over all it’s a must have app, and I would highly recommend using it for music on your phone.
Developer Response ,
Thank you so much for your detailed and so positive review!
Messed up organisation/grouping
I previously wrote a review of the app asking for a better way to organise files. You used to be able to create a folder and drag files into that folder. I use a lot of training videos and I had a main folder for each subject and then I label the file in numerical order along with their subject. All I wanted was a way to reverse the order as the files were playing back to front. You know what they say; ‘be careful what you wish for’. This new grouping organisational system has messed everything up. It seems to automatically group files that’s name start the same...an example would be now all my videos starting with ‘01’ are stored in the same folder even if they were previously in different folders. There doesn’t seem to be a way of creating your own groups either. It’s just a massive disappointment and now I have to go and rename every video file and reload from scratch as there is no way I can sort out this mess.
