Hello VLC team,I’m using VLC on iOS and I’d like to suggest an improvement regarding playlist controls.Currently, in the playlist view, swiping left on an item immediately triggers a delete action. The issue is that this gesture is very easy to trigger accidentally during normal scrolling or navigation, especially on smaller touch screens. In practice, this leads to unintended deletions of songs or media items, sometimes without the user realising until later. Since playlists can contain a large number of files, even a small accidental swipe can cause frustration and data management issues.Suggested improvement:It would be very helpful to have one or more of the following options:* A setting to disable swipe-to-delete gestures in playlists* Or an option to require confirmation before deleting via swipe* Or the ability to limit deletion actions to “Edit/Select mode” onlyThis would preserve usability for users who like quick gestures, while also providing a safer mode for those managing larger libraries or sensitive playlists.VLC is widely used as a media player, and improving safety around accidental deletion would significantly enhance the user experience, especially on mobile devices.Thank you for your work on VLC — it’s an excellent app and widely appreciated.Kind regards Abdisaid
