VoucherCodes: Discounts, Deals
Ratings & Reviews
The concept of this is amazing, but the actual format not great. If you are ordering something one off and a discount happens to be on here, GREAT! If you open an app for somewhere you order from often, pointless. You can sit on an app, go to VoucherCodes app, find a deal you want tracked, then the VoucherCodes app will take you to safari, which is pointless, you have already spent hours scrolling on the app and filled your basket just wanting to checkout. If this app here would divert and track an app purchase it would be 10/10 but without that it’s half pointless. Also the safari extension is okay but the button is not geared for right handed users. It is constantly in the way and I’m having to move it. If it would automatically open on the top left out of the way it would be much better so you can reach for it when you want it but not be in the way. At the moment as I try to scroll down or up it is somewhere in the way.Sorry guys cause I love the concept and have managed to save when a lot of the websites I used didn’t have apps but now it’s easier to scroll and make wishlist on their app rather than on safari so half the time I can’t claim.
Have been using this app for over a year. It started out good. It tracked my purchases well … then it started missing some. So in the end I take a screenshot to prove I’ve ordered through the VC app and wait for the confirmation from the company I purchased from to come. If I’ve not had a confirmation from BC I then email them and forward the photos and confirmation. They normally fix it but it’s taking so long to get an answer from them now (presumably because this is happening to lots of people). What is supposed to be a great experience is turning into one that requires so much more time and effort than it should. It is putting me off using it, which is a real shame because if they just got it to work perfectly they could have so many more customers. If you do use it you must keep track of what you buy etc etc and make sure you get your confirmations and you need to be really patient. 🤷🏼♀️
This app has been thoroughly and comprehensively wrecked after the last few upgrades. They've generally destroyed most of its functionality. Funniest example though: 'Can I see vouchers "near me" please?' Yeah sure, here's a map of the whole of Europe instead! We feel it's more important, that you know there are 3000+ vouchers in the whole of Europe!. (Not very many really seeing as as far as I'm aware we are an entire continent). Try to get the mapping to work more locally, and you seem have to zoom in manually from there to locate where you are. A very rewarding task. Just as you get there .. yep you guessed it, it flicks you to some random and pointless location, maybe the San Franciscan headquarters of Daves Poisonous Pizza, The whole app wastes your time so thoughtlessly, you'd be more sensible throwing your phone Into the Thames than trying to find anything useful using it. And there are many other issues The site is clearly too slow to handle the traffic that the new app creates.
I signed up for Vouchercodes about 2 years ago, and it has consistently provided me with current information as to who was offering what n terms of discounts. It doesn't cost us a penny, but instead, saves us plenty of them! The only advice I would give (which is nothing to do with this app!), is to take a picture of the voucher before you head to your destination, as your mobile signal may not be good, and consequently, there may be a problem bringing up the voucher. So sign up, free of charge, and enjoy all the discounts!
Does what it says on the tin in regards to voucher codes, use them quickly in store and always works. However I rarely use this app just because there's not many restaurants on here. But it still uses up all my battery. I haven't opened the app, it's closed on my phone but used 84% of my battery the other day. Even on low battery mode today it still used 12% and I didn't even have it open or use it. I think this is unacceptable for this app and I'm uninstalling it.
Well I have only used this App with limited use so far but for free its a nice handy app! I just skip through now before making a purchase just to seeif Ican save a bit.....😜 we all feel better when we score a discount don’t we 😄?! Not noticed any further brands added as yet? I am sure the app designer will update soon. Ill keep using it as long as it saves me a few quid! Thanks for reading....regards Dave
