Needs a serious update.
Tried to book some seats and use our card for a discount. I tried and card wouldn’t work for discount, so went on the actual web site and there I couldn’t choose the seats. Pretty poor. Better to just go there and sort out before the film. Waste of what used to be a great app.
Pathetic user experience - again, and again
So far failed on 3 separate movie going attempts. Might use Vox app simply to find movie times, rather than make booking.
At this stage not too bothered about missing out of Vox Points, nor the free bucket of popcorn on first film experience booked via Vox UAE app. I would far rather have a smooth user experience that does not waste my time. Vox miss out on customer data to analyze.
THE ISSUE: Mobile App repeatedly failed to complete the booking - falling over at diverse stages of process, and taking a long time to progress. Once I reached payment, yet web server appeared to fail at credit card validation.
Repeated the booking attempts using Vox UAE website (from laptop rather than mobile phone), and had same poor user experience. In the end we simply purchased tickets at the cinema.
Submitted feedback to Vox regarding booking issues for their app + website. Response received a few days later was to claim that both were “now working”. Hardly a meaningful response. Certainly not customer centric.
This was first visit to Vox Cineplex Grand Hyatt; and likely to be the last. Distracting lighting inside 4D cinema, toilets stank (...).
Not the fun & relaxed outing that we were aiming for. There are better cinema venues by Vox, or indeed others.
Needs a lot of improvements
Easy to book but annoying to find the booking information. No cancellation option. Visa discount does not work at all.
