Wallapop - Sell & Buy
Ratings & Reviews
The concept is great and the app works amazing. Great design, very easy to use. It would be great to know if the buyer is actually online/available, the “average response time” doesn’t really work for me. Some buyers had “usually replies in 24h” and didn’t reply to messages in over a week. Obviously this is not Wallapop’s fault and the sellers were probably busy that week but I would consider a more reliable way of I would include folders in the “favourites” section. Being able to group favourites is great for when the buying is looking for a specific product and wants to compare different offers. As a buyer you can search but location but as a seller you can’t. i.e. I live abroad but I have some items listed at my parents’s house. I would like to list some items in my hometown, so that buyers can find those items near them. I can send those items while I’m living at my parents and my parents don’t mind sending them to buyers while I’m not home. However, I also have things I would like to sell abroad while in uni. What’s the solution? Having two accounts in different devices? Being able to list items by location (not showing them like they travel with me, more like show them if i’m at the location I originally listed them at? Being able to switch accounts in the app? A nice touch would be to translate listed items to the language set in the app. (translate/show original)The app is amazing, these are just some ideas to make it a little bit better. Thank you!
Wallapop allows users to buy and sell second hand products. First impression was very positive. Friendly end-user interface. Fantastic design - and very intuitive layout. Smooth touch development - everything works very good. After quick investigation, I can definitely say that you will really like it! Excellent alternative to very popular on the market Gu**** app. If you are selling an item, just quickly Register by "Log in with Facebook", "Log in with Gmail" or simply provide name, email and password. That's you ready for the listing! Couldn't be easier. Thereafter just attached "take a picture" or "select existing photo, headline, write short products description and finally list the item. There is a quite interesting option "Share item on Facebook" it is always up to you. If you are looking to buy something, thanks up to date technologies in use, search engine facilities and excellent Geo Location Software involved in the Wallapop application you will find the nearest products very quickly. If you found an exiting product you have simple three option "Chat" "Make an offer" or "I'll take it" - the simplicity. To sum it up, - easy to use- friendly interface- great for both sellers and buyers - intuitive navigation - modern design - up to date technologies in use. I would definitely recommend it! You are going to be amazed by how easy it works.
Wallapop... What can I say... Amazing... This new app allows you to sell anything from a bike to a car. If your looking to make money on some unwanted goods this app is the way forward. Even if your not looking to sell an item, your able to browse its vast amount of products to buy for yourself, friend's or loved ones. The way the app has been designed gives buyers and sellers easy access to view a range of products. A feature I was particularly impressed by was its ability to use your location to search for items close to you. This allowed me to find a certain product that was literally a car journey away. I also like the way you can interact and message the buyer/seller. This gives you the opportunity to speak to the seller and discuss any queries you may have, regarding pick-up or delivery dates. This app is a must have for anyone looking for a bargains or a platform to selling their goods :)
I have been using Wallapop for a couple months now and I LOVE it. I am selling my old items and it is so easy. You just upload an image, title and price and wait to sell it. You get a lot of views and it is very easy to sell most items. All the people I have met on the app are very nice and I have sold a couple items now. There are NO fees whatsoever for a seller which is why I think it is better than eBay. The postage is calculated by Wallapop and all it requires you to do is pop down to the local post office and post it or organise a meeting with the buyer. This usually take only 2 mins and doesn’t cost anything. Buying is also very nice and shows a wide range of items. Everyone is a normal person so you can get some amazing deals. I advise anyone reading this to download it. There are no negatives
I bought a bicycle from a seller who posted a picture of a bicycle I thought I was be getting, when revived the bicycle did not match the listing and to make it worse the box was opened and not taped up properly, meaning parts of the bicycle could have fallen out. When I raised a dispute with Wallapop to request a refund they instantly rejected my claim despite the nonsense that the buyers money is secured for 48 hours if there was an issue or the item was not the same as the advertisement. Wallapop did not give me a reason as to why they refused my claim. I tried to escalate this but there is no chance of contacting their customer services because the number just rings through or goes to user busy. After a few emails I have not received any acknowledgment. Avoid this app and using Wallapop at all costs as they are con artists and do not honour the buyers rights if they are misplaced an item. Awful service. I’m happy to go back to using eBay who have a decent policy and customer service team.
Beware the cons. There is no possible way to guarantee that you'll get that ridiculous bargain you paid for via paypal or bank transfer. Actually you won't, the app is filled with con artists posting eye catching bargains in contested areas (London for instance) and upon contacting them they reveal that they're not in said area, but instead they're hundreds of miles away. The good news is they accept paypal and they can post, which obv will not happen. Other than that you can find bargains on there, just make sure to meet in person. Would def recommend improvements in the feedback system and the buyer security system (hold online payments till the item is delivered perhaps). All in all, decent app that still in need of many updates and enhancements, for the time being would recommend shpock or gumtree.
