Description
Washnet is online laundry payment and monitoring system. It is a state-of-the-art mobile and Web App that will help you complete your laundry process with minimal fuss.
Washnet has a cashless payment system that uses debit or credit payment cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay and, PayPal (for certain transactions). Using Washnet, our users can:
Pay as you go
Access Laundry Membership Schemes – if these are enabled at your location, you’ll be able to see them in the App
Send a payment link to a friend or family member - the gift of laundry
Reserve a machine prior to going to the laundry, making sure a machine is available for you
Get notified when a machine becomes available
Get notified when your machine is about to finish
Get automatic refunds if your machine did not start
Get notified if there is a fault with your machine, including instructions if it is easy to fix, for example a door not closed properly
Washnet has accurate real time monitoring functionality 24/7, letting you know exactly what the status of your laundry is.

How can you create an essential app that doesn’t work
This should be 0 stars. How can both the app and website not work at the same time and they don’t even give you a heads up or anything. Reserved a washer, loaded my clothes, went to pay and everything just crashed. Tried to message customer service and all that the automated WhatsApp message said was ‘We are aware there is an issue with the app and the website. Our tech team are working on it and should be resolved shortly’. I’m sorry but these sort of things shouldn’t really be happening when a company is solely based online, especially when a student doesn’t have any other option but to then unload all of their dirty clothes and heave them back to their room waiting god knows how long for it to be fixed. I don’t know why uni’s pay for this company because it’s tragic.
utterly awful
The Washstation App worked perfectly! If it’s not broken… don’t fix it. This new app which I am forced to use, does not work in the slightest. You can often not even open the app, simply left with a constant loading screen. It appears that it is being run by some incredibly slow foreign servers. Not only this, but the one time I DID get in and able to reserve a washer, I was charged multiple times for a single wash that then didn’t start. The user interface is just awful.
Please please please sort this out asap.
As a uni student in halls, I have no option but to use these washers with my busy schedule, the nearest laundrette is 40 mins by public transport. It’s not fair to CHARGE for washing, let alone give us an awful app that doesn’t even work and charges you multiple times only to not even work.
Simple and functional!
This is a brilliant app and Everything I’ve been needing for so long! After using commercial washing machines and launderettes for years this app makes everything seamless and so simple! Cash is definitely a thing of the past and this app makes it so accessible to be able to complete my least favourite chore 😅, without first having to go to the cash point and then get loose change for the machine! Convenience is key and this app absolutely sums that up 👍🏻 the only thing it doesn’t do, is wash and fold my clothes up for me, then I’d give it 6 stars, hats off to the developer.
