Great game but… PLEASE READ ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Amazing game. Great thought put into it, infinite fun so many different timelines to keep you playing it. Would recommend it to anyone. In fact I have, my whole friend group of 33 people play it. Everyone says it’s amazing. The ‘but’ in the title was because of one eeny weeny tiny winey problem that is probably VERY unlikely to happen. But unfortunately, it happened to me. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I am on the second timeline in the British empire. I have been playing for 3 months now, or I started playing 3 months ago, I have somehow managed to beat the British empire, WITH the British empire and am now against the modern age. I have spent all my coins and no matter how hard I try, I can’t beat them, I would recommend to fix this and other problems for some other people maybe to add a daily reward, maybe it could be like, for example say you had just started in the Stone Age it could be 100 coins on day one, 200 on day 2, 350 on day 3 and so on up to 15 days, on day 15 you get a whole age upgrade, example if I was on day 15 I would automatically go from the British empire to the modern age. And then, after 15 days, it resets , day one 100 coins and so on. With me being on the British empire, maybe it could be day 1 , 50k coins, day 2 100k day 3, 250k coins and so on until day 15. And the further up in ages and timelines you are, the more coins you get. Thank you.
This is a GOOD GAME
Please read: I rarely do game reviews because the review is normally 1 star because of the ridiculous amount of ads there are regardless of how good the game is. This game however offers enjoyable playtime without stupid pop up ads every 3 minutes. There is the option to watch adverts for a perk (double money, extra starting meats) but I think that’s the best way rather than being forced to watch them. That’s why I give it 5 starts, probably been playing for about a week and I’ll continue to do so
Age of War, but far worse
The game demands you watch ads just to keep up with the completely overpowered AI. As soon as you’re able to reach the AI’s base you will realise two things: one; their base has 500hp, whereas you only have 2, meaning one hit will destroy yours. Two; the AI has a large stockpile of upgrade materials and food that allows them to progress past you and destroy you immediately with much more powerful units.
You have to die over and over in order to increase food production speed and to unlock the units the AI already has just to compete, while the game temps you with double coins for upgrades and food for units in exchange for watching an ad.
Predatory behaviour from the devs and I will be uninstalling this game as soon as this review is published. Play Age of War instead if you want a fair experience.
