Great way to keep track of your finances
This app is fantastic. It simplifies the process of keeping an eye on your general finances. It’s extremely easy to add different accounts and update them to the latest amounts. The whole UI of the app is nice and simple and makes the data easy to see how your money has changed over time.
I’ve always found it complicated to manage this in other ways and ended up with a complicated multi sheet spreadsheet that was a pain to update. This is a polar opposite - easy and simple.
I’d recommended this to anybody who wants to track their general finances over longer periods of time Rather than daily budgeting.

A few flaws
A decent enough app but a few annoying issues. When entering UK equities and ETFs the app assumes that the data feed prices are in pounds whereas they are usually in pence. Consequently, to get the correct values entered you have to divide the number of units you own by 100. Slightly tedious and even more annoyingly it only seems to apply to some assets so you have to be careful. Secondly, in the main view, equities display the number of units rather than the market value which would seem the obvious choice. To see the value of equities/ETFs you have to click in and review. Again, seems unnecessary. Overall OK but not great. Especially for £12 a year.
UPDATE: After entering my share portfolio, the numbers seemed odd. After an hour of investigating it became clear that certain UK equities are being treated as if they are priced in USD. So the price is being ‘converted’ into GBP in the total even though the original value already was GBP. Makes the totals nonsense and the app worthless. £12 wasted. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE SHARES!

I'm sorry that you faced with issues related to calculation. Could you please send details to support@balanceviewer.com about what UK equities and ETFs are calculating wrong? So we will be able to fix this in the future updates. The app has 150,000+ tickers and 20000+ ETFs, so it's hard to detect the problem without additional info.

Great app to keep track of account balance
This app provides an easy way of keeping track account balance of all the accounts in one place irrespective of type currency it is associated with. Easy options to add and edit the accounts and the balance related as well. Default currency option is the most useful option see the cash available in desired currency type. Exchange rate for every type of currency is a bonus.
