WeAre8 - The People's Platform 12+

I posted a pipebomb review of this app earlier this year detailing the rage from reviews in November 2021, the solid recovery in December 2021 then the dire straits of early 2022 where advertising was basically non existent. The app was great when it started and I made £12 in 2021 which contributed towards my phone bill, practically almost covering the inflation price index price rise difference of my low cost EE contract for the year.

Now I am pleased to report that the recovery has been slow and steady, about £4 since the doom of early 2022. A lot of multiple 6p quick advertising but it adds up, and so far it’s going some way towards externally covering my low cost Vodafone contract inflation price rise difference (a big difference though thanks to the cost of living crisis drastically raising inflation, but every little helps).

Thank you developers for taking on feedback and improving the app. I see you have more high profile people on board like Rio Ferdinand and TV advertising, which hopefully means more advertisers are on board and more advertising on WeAre8.

Great idea but needs more ads to keep people interested. I’ve basically earned an average of 50p per week since I’ve started - and thats me clicking on almost every single ad straight away. I have notifications on to make sure I see every ad, but this means every time a 6p payment is made available I get a notification, and loads come at once, like 7 in one go which is very annoying if I am doing something else on my phone. I have also been seeing a bug where I click to watch the ad from the notification, but it then says it can’t verify me and I have to go back on the app and click the ad again which is a little bit annoying. However, overall a great idea, easy to use, and I will be sticking with it!

I cannot express enough how much I love this app and the impact it's making in the world.

First of all, the fact that Weare8 allows every single person, no matter where they are, to donate to charities and support the environment is mind-blowing. It's incredible to see the difference we can all make when we come together. I love knowing that my small contributions are going towards something bigger and making a real impact.

But let's talk about the rewards for a second. Winning real money through the app? And not just a few bucks here and there, but big amounts? That's absolutely incredible! Weare8 is definitely not playing around when it comes to rewarding its users. I've been fortunate enough to win some serious cash, and let me tell you, it's no joke.
