Weddar is the first weather service powered by people.
—
In Weddar you have real people reporting on how the weather feels, not machines, bringing a personal touch to weather services.
Instead of the usual and generic “New York, 93º f, 73% humidity, NE light wind.” reports, in Weddar, someone, somewhere in Central Park will tell you that the weather “Feels Perfect”, while another one near the river will tell you that it “Feels Good but windy”, because weather conditions really are different within the same city.
If you have an iPhone, iPod Touch or an iPad, you can now contribute location-based weather reports from where you are.
You can also make “Weddar Requests” for specific places anywhere you’d like to go or when planning your vacations anywhere in the world. A “Weddar Reporter” will answer it.
With almost 1.000.000 Reports in more than 13.500 locations of 147 countries around the world, the Weddar community is growing stronger each day.
With the new update, Weddar is now available in Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Thai, Malay, English, Portuguese (from Portugal and Brazil), Japanese, French, Spanish, Korean, Italian, German and Hungarian.

So... How does it feel? :)
Apparently the email spam I am getting about my previous review is a new feature added by Apple, the result is that I get repeated requests to update my very old review. There is no way to block this from Apple and it is very annoying. This could easily be abused by a rogue developer, but I am confident in this case it just a glitch in this new Apple feature. Update, I got yet another email from Apple today, a repeat of the last one, so there is some kind of glitch for sure, most annoying. Not the developer's fault, but it has to stop and I hope that Apple realise this.Update 2 : I see the reason that I got another Apple email today was that the developer kindly made another comment and that seems to have kicked off another email to let me know. Beginning to understand what is going on.Apple just need to give a selective or global opt out of developer responses in the email or in the settings in iOS to make this problem vanish. I can't believe that they let this get through their beta testing. Many thanks for the developer's polite replies to my earlier rants about this APPLE glitch.

Hi LangSpoon. My name is Catarino. I'm the "developer". Not sure what happened but it's Apple who's sending you emails not me. As you probably know, Apple does not disclose the emails of whoever is commenting in the AppStore, for logical reasons.Since the only response I sent before this one was "Problem solved ;)" and "developer response" is such a new Apple feature, maybe there's a glitch with Apple emails. I don't know. In the meantime, I have contacted Apple to understand what's the problem. It's certainly not my fault and it feels a bit unfair to read such a comment.(UPDATE)Thank you for your understanding. You make very, very good points about how Apple should fix this. I strongly agree that this could be abused. I'll pass that information.
Awesome

Weddar is awesome!!!!There are a few things that could be sorted: for instance there aren't many users, so it feels a bit pointless updating the weather if no ones gonna look at it. The other thing is that you can see exactly where I am, which is a bit intrusive!Other than that, it's awesome! And it's free.
Ok

Usability it great. It's a great idea, unfortunately it relies on many users which it currently doesn't have so if you use to check temperatures etc before leaving the house it doesn't work as no one's posted. This app is also a huge intrusion of privacy. It showed which room I was in, in which house & that was then tweeted to all my twitter followers. The locations should be more general not house specific & you should be able to create a weddar account rather than logging in via twitter or Facebook. All in all it would be a good app with more users & a few changes, unfortunately because of these issues I have deleted the app.

Hi Louise. We've managed to solve some of the problems you're mentioning. I invite you to try it again. Thank you. :)
Wonderful

Love it. Works a treat. Such a simple idea. Get a real idea of what the weather is doing. I was going out for the day, put in a request and a few minutes later had a real idea of the weather exactly where I was off too. Superb.
- Fix for a new "?" location bug
- Adapted map height for new iPhone XS/ XS Max
***Extra***
There might be a chance that you won't be able to share to twitter.
If that's your case:
#1- logout,
#2 - login,
#3 - switch Twitter share
#4 - if you happen to see an unexpected "progress" icon, close/open the app
#5 -Fingers crossed. That will probably work. ;)
Have fun.
