Brilliant
Possibly the best £2.99 I’ve spent for a long time. My iPad will not download unzip and open WeTransfer files, which meant I had to forward emails with links to a Mac desktop to complete these processes, a cumbersome and lengthy process. As my work involves summarising huge medical records and legal files, some of them amounting to gigabytes, this very simple and easy little app is a godsend, thank you Lord. A hint - you open the files, whatever they are, in the app after you have downloaded them, do not try looking for them in the app relevant to their format (Acrobat for instance). You can save the files to the relevant app, any storage app such as Dropbox, or send them by email, from WeDownload. Amazing.
Excellent app
If you already use wetransfer you’ll know how good it is, and this app is perfect to use along side it, you can simply send video files (well that’s what I used it for) and pick them up on your iOS device an save straight to camera roll. It is slick fast and efficient well worth the £2.99
If I could give this ZERO STARS, I would!!! If it worked probably 4-5 stars.
OK... if you’ve somehow managed to read my last review, ignore it. I did a bit of ‘fault investigation’ and found the problem...
The instructions say to accept the t&c’s and then click on the download all button. But there isn’t one... it just keept taking me back to the WeTransfer page.
What you need to do is Agree on the WeTransfer page that opens. Then, if you get a pop up showing ‘Download’ & ‘Open’ buttons, click on the circled ‘x’ and THEN click download!!
It worked fine after that and I’m more than happy. Think the developer needs to update his instructions on the webpage (maybe with images of the whole process too??).
If there is a way of contacting/emailing the developer, I couldn’t find it on the webpage. If you can create this, it may help poor s*ds like me from writing a bad review!!
Anyway, back to more downloads...
