Q: Prescription refills - can I order prescriptions on behalf of my children or elderly parents?
A: Yes, this feature is now available! Go to the Me tab and it should be self-explanatory to add a dependent.
Q: Will you work with my GP?
A: Yes. The Weldricks app works with the majority of NHS GP’s in England.
All your prescription requests will be sent for approval to your own GP. (This doesn't guarantee your GP will issue a prescription)
Q: If I already order my prescriptions directly with my GP, do I still need your app?
A: Yes, you can still order from your GP; the improvement is now that your pharmacy will tell you when your medication is ready to collect or be delivered, and resolve any issues on behalf of you with your GP.
You can also get free medication advice from the pharmacy with in-app messaging. The app is also a smart medication reminder.
Q: What if my local pharmacy is not a Weldricks Group pharmacy?
A: Any NHS pharmacy on the app are authorized to dispense your prescription medication. We recommend choosing the nearest Weldricks pharmacy on the map that covers your area for delivery.
Q: Is my personal information safe?
A: Healthera has gone through rigorous assurance process with NHS Digital and NHS England and is GDPR compliant.

Outstanding service! I work a good distance from my surgery and pharmacy so the ability to link my medication and order via the app is a massive bonus as I can’t just ‘pop out’. Fantastic staff always helpful and knowledgable if you need to query anything. When isolating and needing my prescription they arranged without question delivery of my items literally within hours! Really impressed!
Love the app. But the latest update…
The latest update has made it more difficult to track weather or not you have taken your medication over the previous days and it’s more long winded to go back and update your medication stock.
I preferred the previous version where I would get a reminder. I could tick it off and swipe right to see the previous day and see if I took my meds. And so on. Now there’s numerous steps. Ticking off what I’ve just taken no longer reacts instantly but a few moments later. I’m running on a iPhone 12 Pro Max, Latest iOS update.
Also a small bug, since the latest update; stating I’ve taken my medication on my Apple Watch by pressing the “Take” button, no longer updates the app on my phone. My phone remains unaware that I have taken my medication. Numerous things just don’t seem to be working all that well with the latest app. I do hope a new update comes out soon.
App seems ok but unfortunately Weldricks don’t use it correctly
Unfortunately staff at both the GP surgery and Weldricks don’t use the app correctly. Some months no medication shows available to order, and presently last month’s medication (which I received a week ago) is still showing as pending in the app as staff haven’t updated it. Currently no medication is showing as available to order - so that’ll be yet another phone call to the GP. Answers to the chat in the app include ‘I can’t see who has sent the message as it’s anonymous’. So you have to phone to get answers as to whether your medication is available for collection etc. I will be deleting this.
