Wendy's UK 4+

I always tend to sometimes order food through delivery apps. There doesn’t appear to be an option to order Wendy’s food using the app. Maybe an update could resolve this issue.

Downloaded app (Mac) and was able to order a meal for collection at Kingston upon Thames restaurant.

I problem is I can no longer make an order through app! Tried reloading app but keep getting an ‘oops something went wrong message’

The other issue when ordering with app is you wait longer than ordering when in restaurant!

As there was a queue to order through one of the terminals I decided to download and order meal through app. Ordering was pretty simple and u are given (or can select) a time to collect.

My first time option was 10 minutes ahead and I thought as restaurant was busy I am happy to wait. That is until I noticed orders that appeared (on separate screen) after mine made through terminals were getting processed first.

When you order via app your order is not on same screen as terminal orders. I literally watched terminal orders being processed and handed out before mine and I ended up waiting 25mins. When I asked at the counter why my order was taking so long I got a blank face and no reply to my question. The girl just walked away!!

So avoid ordering through the app…that’s if you can.

This app is just a pure waste of time and not worth taking up the storage on your phone. It’s that poor it doesn’t do anything. The app says it’s for finding your nearest Wendy’s. Great there is a map with some Wendy’s locations on it but only 8 out of 30 restaurants they have! Ordering ahead for collection is another feature which is advertised as being on the app. It’s only possible to order ahead at 2 Wendy’s, so the rest of us can forget about it. The app is so basic and hasn’t really been thought through or tested properly. Lack of investment into the app is poor from such a business like this. Pick up your game Wendy’s!
