Westfield Shopping 4+

I parked my car in car park B on Thursday and photographed it so that I could find it later. Imagine my surprise when I came to pick it up 8 hours later and no matter how much I walked up and down lane 354 on level -3, I couldn’t see it. Eventually I saw someone who looked like he worked there so I asked him for help and he told me to go to the information desk, which I did, and Ayshah from customer services helped me. She came down to the car park and looked with me for about half an hour but she also could not see it. She called several people who all said it was in lane 354 on level -3 but the last person also said that it was next to a wall. We then decided to walk around the perimeter of the floor and suddenly there was my car! Also there was a sign with 354, B on it right by it! Ayshah was extremely patient and professional throughout. I couldn’t have been assisted by a more lovely person.

I’ve been to Westfield a few times - it’s sort of convenient to have lots of shops in one place, but they are a maze and finding what’s where is painful. So when taking my family to a Bouldering session (available in Westfield ) but unsure which entrance to use when it was pouring rain, I figured - gray there’s an app - that’s sure to tel me right? NOOOO of course it doesn’t! There’s is a map, but can you search it? Of course not. What a waste!!! What’s the point of the app in fact? Worth mentioning that even in the mall - their big search kiosks still got the location wrong too… so frustrating

W-Park didn’t work on exit. The guy on the help button let me out so I assumed he’d charged my card as he asked for my car registration plate. However…… The app STILL thinks I’m in the car park and I’m writing this from my bed 4 miles away!!! No contact number on the app and as someone else said there is no response to my emails, the charges are still going up because we are dealing with robots!!!!! I’m panicking because if I try to enter again next week the amount will probably be past £100 by then. It is up to £32 so far for a one day stay. I have no way of stopping the charges climbing!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Go back to smart parking, I’ve used that for years with no problems at all!!!!! Just watch yourself if you are using the apps to park.
