Description

What’s Good is a simple and elegant tool designed to make you happier - by helping you notice and appreciate the good things in each day.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We naturally tend to focus more on the bad things than the good. This instinct helped us survive as a species, but it’s not so helpful in cultivating happiness. What’s Good helps you retrain your brain to notice the good things too.

The science behind this is surprisingly strong: just one week of noting good things has been found to bring lasting increases in happiness - and to significantly reduce your risk of depression.¹

HOW DO I USE IT?

Each day you will simply be asked to reflect on and enter three things that went well that day. Then you’ll record your happiness score for that day.

Taking time to regularly note what you’re grateful for not only boosts your happiness, it can also bring other benefits, including greater compassion, lower blood pressure, and even a stronger immune system.²

When you make What's Good part of your daily routine, you will also discover a wealth of personal insight. You’ll be able to see when you tend to be happiest and what really contributes to this.

Great Gratitude App

Great way of appreciating Positive experiences throughout the day.
The Breathing introduction helps create a reflective space and primes the Affiliative/Gratitude Emotions. I also use Breathing visual to enhance soothing effects of breath.
The 3 events record helps rekindle the positive experiences and feel the positive feelings.
The Happiness Sliding Scale is so easy to use and tracks level of happiness over time.
Have recommended App to others.

Lovely little app

Ticks all the boxes for being able to record briefly what has happened in the day that could’ve given me some happiness that I’ve not reflected on. There is a decent amount of space in each of the entry points. Love the animation. I actually take the time to breathe with it and sometimes it’s the only time I do that all day. The inspirational quotes are exactly that. The only things I would like to see it have as well (otherwise I would’ve given it five stars) is a box for updating how I feel after having written down the three things. I usually like to use an app for just over a month, do a review and then review it a couple months later so I’ll check then.

Fact it’s free is awesome but I’d still be happy to pay a pound or two as a thank you sign of my appreciation. This app is well worth a try if you want a way to keep a record of your good memories.

No more pity parties!!

This app is for anyone, like myself, who wants to stop throwing those pity parties that can go on for days. 5 days in a row now I've written down the positives, and reading them back I feel like high fiving myself. Great that you can adjust the breathing rate, really induces calm. The graph is insightful to really show those 'ups and downs of daily life.
