Payment will be charged to iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

The best app I have ever purchased, I just can’t put it down!! So interesting learning where your favourite songs came from - often a real eye opener to know just what is original and what is ‘stolen’... I am now holding parties where I play tracks and videos directly from this app. It’s opened up a whole new world of music for me. THANK YOU !!

Do not purchase this app. I didn't mind paying the £3.99 for this app as I have been using the website on my pc for some time and would happily pay towards something I have had a lot of use out off with the added bonus of a easy to use app on my mobile. However the yearly subscription is a joke, I’m sure it probably says in the description somewhere that to use the listen function you need to pay a yearly subscription, maybe it’s my fault for getting exited and purchasing it without reading but either way it’s a cheek. I understand that you need money to keep this alive but couldn’t you just ask for donations? I genuinely only payed the £3.99 as I thought I like the website and the developers deserve it but a yearly subscription to use one of the main advertised functions is just taking the p***. PLEASE WRITE ON THE PHOTO OF THE LISTEN FUNCTION THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT YEARLY. The fact it was not makes it look like a desperate cash grab deceiving me and others who genuinely don’t mind paying for something that they was advertised.

We try to make it very clear in the app's description and screenshots that the music recognition functionality comes at an additional cost. As an independent developer, we have to charge for the costs we incur in providing you with the track ID functionality over time, hence we have to charge a recurring subscription fee. The app provides a multitude of additional functionality not available on our website, such as the ability to scan your Spotify and Apple Music playlists for their samples, covers and remixes. Can’t find a sample without it being on a recognised song. So if you play something to find a sample and it doesn't exist in their datebase etc you can’t get the sample. I tried to find one sample from a freestyle, it’s a melody from a really famous rap song (I just can’t remember which one) and it won’t listen to it and analyse the bits. It just looks for a song like shazam and then lists the samples. I can do that myself with shazam and the whosampled website. So this app is a pretty underwhelming marketing move that actually doesn’t provide that much extra convenience…

WhoSampled is really one of a kind. I’m amazed, and frankly upset I did not come across it sooner. Why do I use WhoSampled? To find new music. I find a song I like, check who’s sampled it, find another gem and go from there. the app is raw, lets you hunt for yourself, but gives you all the tools you need to make like easy - like scanning your library to find any tracks of your own that have been sampled/ covered/ remixed etc.it’s been on my home screen since day one. I cannot believe this app hasn’t picked up more traction. I hope my review helps fuel this app to a greater audience. fantastic job guys, keep it up !
