Description
Want to explore some of Sheffield’s fantastic wild spaces? This App will take you on 10 guided walks around some of Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust’s best loved nature reserves.
Decide where you want to go, then download the relevant walk (we recommend you do this before your visit). Once there, activate the App then use your phone’s GPS to help guide you round the route shown.
As you travel along the route select the information points as you come to them, to learn more about the site’s history and wildlife, or to participate in an activity.

Great idea but it doesn’t work
I don’t think this app has been updated for some time. When downloading an activity it always times out. It’s such a shame as it would be a valuable resource for our family and I’m sure many others too.
Interesting information on reserves
A useful little app that introduces walkers to some of the wildlife reserves around Sheffield via short “guided” walks with snippets of info on history, ecology etc. Some reviews have said you need to know where the reserves are first but you can either use google map or otherwise look them up on the Wildlife trust website. Easy.
Don't know where some of these places are
Clearly a lot of thought has gone into this app but by people who already know these places. I can't tell where some of these are in relation to my house or the city centre. Downloading a walk didn't necessarily make that clearer. Had to Google More Hall Reservoir for instance.
