Welcome on board to the WindHub app!
Built for mariners by mariners, it displays necessary weather and marine info in a neat and simple way. The detailed map will help to plan cruises, races, or nice fishing.
Accurate forecasts and real-time data includes:
• atmospheric pressure map with marked highs and lows
• weather fronts
• wind and gust forecasts
• waves info
• tides and currents
• rain radar and precise nowcast
• live wind information from 30000+ weather stations
Top-notch weather data is provided by professionals - official weather forecasting services: NOAA, Meteo-France, Deutscher Wetterdienst, ECMWF and others. High-resolution forecast for Europe and East Asia is calculated by our team.
And it’s not just the weather - marinas have contact information so you can call or email the harbor master to book a berth or to ask about amenities.
Special treat for sailors and boaters in the US is the option to display nautical charts. It shows water depths, dangers, anchorages, and other features. The provided nautical charts aren’t for navigation purposes.
Using the app is easy. You can change units, wind speed display (animation or wind barbs), and weather data displayed on the map. Activate “Traffic Saver Mode” if you experience low reception signal.

I use Windy and find Windhub so much more easier to view the basics than scroll through a side listing to overlay certain aspects. Graphics are bold and clear too. Unsure whether to sign up for the pro version at the moment

Was great
Now that they made pressure fronts a paid thing i have gone off the app. Im not gonna pay for something i can also get off the internet for free. Just do ads

Hello! Thank you for the feedback! You are right, Fronts is one of the extra feature, it's available in the full version of the app. Contact our user support team if you want to test it! Trial vs Paid Upfront
The app seems fine. But I can’t be sure because I’m neither willing to sign up and pay £39 now (with no trial) NOR £59 (after a 7 day trial).
Get a £20 discount if you forgo a trial? That seems overly manipulative. Pay £20 more if you must have a trial? Final nail.
On a positive note, it’s a great example of an anti-pattern. Comp Sci tutors will love the up to date reference.
I’ll stick with Windy. 🤷

Hello Pete! Thank you for your feedback! We've developed this price policy based on our users' behavior. There are situations when you don't need a trial (users are happy with our other products, have seen the app work on their friend's phone and etc.). If you choose the trial, but the PRO version doesn't suit your needs, you can just cancel the subscription in the App Store before the trial ends and pay nothing. If you're interested to try the full capabilities of the app, but don't want to sign up for a trial, please contact our user support through the feedback form in the app.
