Elegant and intuitive and very private

A very elegant and original and private messaging app recommended by James Corbett. My only issue is that I can’t select a GIF and add text under it and then post it on a group chat - like I can in Signal messenger, I have to post the GIF first then add text - come on Wire - after a few updates this still is the case! It shouldn’t be difficult to fix.

Great.....but

This is s great messaging app....but very little used by people so a struggle to get adopters. But working on it. As another reviewer mentioned, one issue is that you can’t always identifier users automatically from your address book. I guess this is both good, from a privacy point of view, and bad from an adoption point of view.

One gripe I have is that call quality is appalling recently, almost unusable. No change in my or recipients signal strength, so not sure what is happening. This may force me to move to another platform as it is an important aspect for me.

Update Jan 22: Call quality still rubbish. I guess developers aren’t worried about it. Had to start using WhatsApp again 😳

GET WIRE

This app is so good because you don’t need contacts even if you do have other ways to connect with your friends and family I would still use wire because of all the options you can use. Also the group calls and face time is all included. Me and my friend have a group we’re we chat all the time. You can also use wire in different countries as some other apps do not work across the world. SO GET WIRE!!!
