Wireless Audio : Multiroom 4+

You need an app that will work on a laptop, ie. a MacBook.

Iphone and iPad is good although it can be frustrating to have to re-find speakers if they haven’t been used for a while.

Also, more flexible grouping would be good. Ie. I want to be able to name different groups that group a different set-up of speakers.

I never review apps but this has gone too far now. I have been using this app for 3 years now and yes there have been some slight problems along the way especially using Deezer through the app. Certain playlist won’t play and the ones that do I have to keep removing the songs and adding new ones so they will play, these are just small niggles but lately the app just seems to of got worse

I have been a deezer customer for years but lately whenever I’m using deezer through the Samsung multi room app I’m now getting messages of “no internet connection” Couple of weeks ago I had no issues but now I can’t play any song from deezer. I’ve reinstalled the app I even signed out of deezer and now I can’t sign back in. I’ve checked my details and they are correct. What gives Samsung? The app wasn’t brilliant to start with now things have got worse. These R5 speakers are brilliant so why don’t you update the app so we can use them to there full potential. It needs sorting out!!

I have got two Samsung WAM1500 speakers that I use with a TV sound bar. The other day these speakers needed reconfiguring, as they suddenly dropped off my Wi-Fi network. “No problem” I thought. “Just perform a hard reset and use this app to rejoin them to my Wi-Fi network”. Wrong! Since the iOS 13 update, this program doesn’t work. You can’t use it to set up any Samsung Multi Room speakers. Wouldn’t be a problem if you could configure these things another way, but you can’t. This app is the *only way* to set up these speakers. The solution is to find an old device running an old version of iOS and install this application onto that. Then it works ok. Not a brilliant advertisement for a Samsung product that cost 100’s of £‘s. Just makes you feel like Samsung couldn’t care less about older products. I hope they get this app updated to work with the current iOS version ASAP.
