Awful update with terrible UI/UX

Unnecessary app update that now makes it impossible to turn off thermostats, without setting the temperature ridiculously low or activating “summer mode”. To even access the thermostat, you need to click through 3 or 4 screens to get to the page that doesn’t work. There are also several buttons/links that don’t seem to do anything e.g. on thermostat link “tap for more details” takes you to the same screen - why does this link even exist. The app makes it incredibly difficult to use our smart home appliances and I wish they would revert the pointless design updates. Terrible user experience that I have no choice but to engage with.

The new app update removes functionality. Now I can’t turn my heating on and off as I please instead I have to set a schedule. I don’t typically want or need schedules but now you’re making me work very hard to manage my heating which means the app isn’t useful anymore.I also can’t add a second thermostat. Overall pretty poor experience.

Updating my review after a year with Wondrwall, the new app and some experience with their customer support. I live in a 3-bedroom home with Wondrwall and over the past year my electricity bill has averaged just over £20 a month. This has mostly been in the winter. In August/September last year, I didn’t pay anything!The new app is a massive improvement and the few issues I have had after I updated have been quickly resolved by the technical support team. The guys that I speak to there have always been super helpful. Would have no issues recommending Wondrwall over other apps that just do heating etc. Looking forward to getting the cameras when they come out.

Loads up easily on my iPhone and once you’ve set up your account it responds straight away. Easy enough to navigate through the app and no problems setting up or using it.
