Some glitches with the latest version

I absolutely love this game. I have played it daily for at least the last year. It’s a great balance between being challenging and being achievable. The daily and weekly challenges keep it interesting, and it’s a great tribute to one of my favourite childhood films. However, this week I’ve had problems with level 1549. I had a different and much harder version than my partner who was on the same level. I decided to redownload the app. After doing so, the background to all the levels is completely black which makes it quite difficult to play. My partner did the same but doesn’t have the problem. I’m wondering if it’s because I have the latest version of iOS? Please get it fixed soon - I can’t live without my wonka time!!

Stop ruining it! It was a lovely game 🙁

This was a lovely, mindless game which was utterly charming - building the chocolate factory and choosing options for decorations was absolutely enough to keep me engaged on the level I wanted to be for this game. I took a little break because, well - life happens! Having come back to it, the feel is just like everything else, they spam you with trying to force you into teams, leaderboards, side games spinning for things, buying passes mini games that aren’t really mini games and generally trying to side track you into way too many other things. I have been forced into a team and keep being given updates about who is winning when I have no wish to be in a team, let me play my mindless game in peace! This is such a shame - it isn’t about supporting the developers, I’d be happy to pay a one off fee to choose my own options and stop being spammed, it’s the constantly trying to get out of other screens to just play the game which is excessive. Sadly I’m off, but lovely idea, great game but you ruined it by trying to force your players into a load of unnecessary behaviour that you wanted. You should have put your efforts into a new game rather than ruin this one 😞 Willy Wonka and Ronald Dahl would not have approved!

Improvements could be made

This is a great game and a great concept. However once you have completed a product eg the gum ball machine you have to complete another three levels to move onto another task which is unfair . I have been playing this game 8 months every day and I am still on the sweet making zone . I am not far of soda land but it shouldn’t take this long surely . I am such a patient person but for it to take 8 months just to get to zone three is ridiculous. I have paid a lot of money for various packages too. So unless you pay bags of money it’s probably going to take on average 5-6 years to complete the whole game . Nothing is easy in life but not need to make it impossible. More rewards should be given for the amount you play too. Stop making it too hard to move and complete zones and I will stay loyal and interested . Make it too hard like it is now and it only takes a click of the finger to delete it .
