Really useful & great support
We use this all the time. Worth noting that it has an option to select a dictionary appropriate to your requirement. We found this out when an installation on a second iPad started giving slightly different results. Quick response from the developer confirmed the necessary “fix”. Thanks very much - great app.
Very useful BUT....
You are not up to date, zen is now allowed but not on your checker, I did mail you but have had no reply - can you update please scrabble has! Also 50% 0f scrabbles word are foreign not in English dictionaries - and how can a word be allowed that has no definition!!? Many are like that.

EDIT August,23: The app was just updated with the CSW19 database (with all new words allowed) .
Original Answer August,20: The dictionaries used in is app are the officials English Scrabble dictionaries, all word exists in english. The offline definition are just for information, if you want the full definition of a word, you can enable the online definition in the parameters and select the dictionary you prefer (American Heritage Dictionary, Wiktionary, ...)
We will update with the new words soon, thanks for your help.
Great service
I download a ran this app ...it had an issue and with 24 hours the developer was in touch walk through the issue with me. Found out the cause and fixed it just like that ...excellent service for an excellent app...
