Fun!
I really like games like these to get your brain working and not letting it remain stagnant! And such a brilliant way of educating the youngsters. But it can be really challenging the further you proceed. It’s not one of those completely pointless games out there on the interweb!
Needs Improvement
I’d like to give 5 stars however there is a major flaw in the game. Every so often the bonus word is exactly the same as in the main puzzle but to complete it you have to use Hints, and these cost coins. Once completed it is then a 50/50 chance that the level still won’t complete and the only way forward is to delete the app and download it again. Clearly very frustrating. The developers say they are aware of the issue however a patch has not been forthcoming, they simply compensate those who complain with 1000 free coins. Apart from this issue the game is very addictive and I’ve certainly learnt a lot of new words. They just need to address the glitches.
Mix-spellings
A straightforward, easy to learn, word-fit type game where you have to find the words in the given ring of letters.
There are 2 difficulty settings and I have found mis-spelt words in both of them.
Level 107 however, has the word ‘DIAM’. I never found this myself and ended up using coins to complete the crossword. When checking the meaning of the word, I found it wasn’t a word in its own right, but the abbreviation for ‘Diameter’, which I already knew.
Abbreviations are never allowable in other crossword type games, where the player is in control of the answers (as opposed to a crossword with clues), therefore should not be allowed here !
