Description

Are you one of those cross stitchers who can never keep track of all your FLOSS? This app allows you to keep track of which DMC FLOSS you own. All the nearly 500 DMC colours (including the 27 new ones added in 2002) are shown in easy to access lists, with a colour image of the FLOSS as well as a brief description. A simple tap marks the FLOSS as one you own.

Now includes Anchor, Gentle Arts Sampler Threads (GAST), and Weeks Dye Works (WDW) Threads.

As well, this app allows you to enter a shopping list. Grab your pattern, and add the DMC codes to your shopping list.

Your inventory of FLOSS will always be with you!

Supports DMC Floss.

Good but needs iPhone/ iPad sync feature

I found this app really easy to use. Although it would be easier if (as previous reviews have stated) anything with zero is automatically transferred to the shopping list and there is the iPhone and iPad sync so if I use my iPad I can see an up-to-date list and vice versa. Maybe using the cloud as a platform to keep up to date lists? Madeira threads don't appear to be on there yet, maybe a further development?

Five stars that will be awarded once apple device sync has occurred and automatically transferred to shopping list feature activated.

Does what it says

Not a bad little app. It keeps a record of which DMC flosses you have. You can search by colour name.

It is useful to be able to check to see if you already have a colour and the shopping list is really handy too. It is useful to have your list of flosses with you on your iPod and not only as a list of numbers but with a little colour swatch next to them as a double-check.

The app has had a number of upgrades in the time I've had it and it is good to know it is still in development as there are a few features that would make it even more useful. It would be good to add flosses from the shopping list so that by ticking them as 'bought' they'd go into the inventory. Colour conversion from DMC -> Anchor would be handy. A more useful definition of the quantity in stock would be helpful. At present the gauge goes from one tick to three ticks. I rarely have more than one skein in stock but need to differentiate between a one metre remnant (fine for tiny sections) and most of a skein...

Anyway, worth buying and I hope it only gets better!

Love this app

Bought this app to help me keep track of threads and projects. I love the fact i can include threads to projects which helps me see when i have a new project what i might need straight away. the shopping list is great as well, i had a new project which uses many threads i had not purchased before. I would love to give this five stars however I gave this four stars as I have noticed a few things which I think would make this an essential item for anyone embarking on embroidery projects (see below):

- the thread list to be updated and showing which are discontinued threads.
- the ability to add notes to threads (for example I was not able to get dmc threads locally and used anchor instead I would like to note this)
- in projects to be able to add none thread info as I have petite beads I would like to include in a particular project & inventory
- to be able to add other haberdashery items to my shopping list
