Xtool Anyscan 4+

I’ve had an A30m obd scanner for a year or so but never managed to get it to work as it should because the software seems permanently buggy. It worked a bit when I first got it but went downhill with subsequent updates.
As previous reviews have noted the Bluetooth connection drops out constantly. So much as to render the scanner not much more than useless.
I do manage to read fault codes but I could do that already with my elm327 cheapo scanner that I bought several years ago for a couple of quid.
In recent times there’s been a lot of updates for “known bugs” but it doesn’t make any difference the Bluetooth connection just continues to drop out and you have to go through the whole connection process again for it to drop out again. Very disappointing.

It says connection failed even it’s connected, all up to date, disconnected reconnected still same issue, removed the app reinstalled same problem. Didn’t even last few months paid alot of money for life time tool

Despite having a lot of tools in the programme my issue was always its inconsistency in communicating with the plug in module. Bluetooth linked but kept stating “failed connection”. So what can you do? It’s branded as useless until it connects. Such a shame as when it was connecting it was one of the best I’ve used.
