Xtreme Soaring 3D 4+

As a glider pilot in training seasonally ( nearly at solo) I think this is a very good app to practise your skill, however a note for the developer is on both paid versions stall speed is very low than the real glider and whenever you use the rudder once in the flight, it crashed your app and you have to restart the most perfect flight. But other than these I think it is a great sim to practise and prefect your skills from real life training. Above comments are just a few bugs but I’m sure they can be fixed easily enough,if not than can you please let me know any fixes for the rudder.

Now that I have got the hang of things, it flies pretty much like a real glider, soaring amongst the clouds is great fun, highest I have been is 6000 feet but it's good that the thermals show up using the lift button and then clear after a few secs. Also like the in cockpit view and the fact that you can zoom in to see the real instrumentation. Need to try other scenarios before I can give it a five but so far so good and the buttons seem to be working better now. A good four for now.

I am already a glider pilot. I did not bother with the training and jumped directly into free flight. I have little expectation for an iPad sim but I managed a normal circuit very easily. Granted pulling back too far does result in a pitch down motion and no adverse yaw seemed to be present when I ignored the rudder control.
When I checked the training I felt that it could be a touch more comprehensive. The lesson seemed to stop on launch and left the non pilot alone to figure things out. Probably why the other reviewers cannot understand how to actually fly and knee-jerked a negative review.
The online multiplayer is simply players sharing airspace without communication. Soaring is blindingly easy to do and fun on the iPad.
The graphical user interface could also do with a tweak.
Otherwise, this is a decent download if you know the basics of gliding.
