Created by Madhav West, a highly experienced yoga and meditation teacher. Madhav received 4 years full time professional training at the Satyananda Yoga Academy Australia and the Bihar School of Yoga in India in Yogic Science. He is also qualified in the field of Health Science and Naturopathic Medicine.

Great app!

I have found this to be a great app! The price is great and I have used it consistently for about six months.
As part of a relaxation practice , this app has helped me to be able to fall asleep more easily at night. I have used it during lunch time laid on my office floor and found it has recharged my batteries, it has also helped remind me what I am here on the planet to do.
As part of a meditation practice, I have found that using this app twice a day has reinforced my mission, has helped me to see my defences and delusions and allowed me to make wiser decisions of a more compassionate nature.
I think this app would help anyone who is over busy with lots going on in their head, anyone who has a lot of time on their hands and would like to learn something new, mothers who need a little me time. I have found shouting "just doing yoga nidra" and the little voices just vanish! Amazing! Also dogs who like a bit of lie on the floor time with their person and cats who like to watch what the humans do also benefit from that bit of special time with their favourite relaxed human.

This practice is a rare gem. It can support lucid dreaming, it can substitute hours of sleep, and it can heighten your awareness to boost personal development in all areas. And it really, really relaxes. Try and see, only do stay awake! The app didn’t invent the idea of course- this ‘technology’ has been around quite a while! But the guidance is sweet and simple and is put together nicely with easy options for 10, 20 and 30 min sessions so you can tailor it both to your skill at staying awake and time available. Personally I try to mix up yoga nidra with audio guidance from other places, just because a fresh voice can help prevent falling asleep and that’s the central challenge in this practice.


Yoga for the stressed

Really effective app, feel fantastic if I'm carrying out the practice and wake up fresh in the morning though don't always manage to get through the whole 30 minutes without falling to sleep!
His voice is really easy to listen to and having the same format for the 10,20 or 30 minute practice works really well, with increasing detail in the longer sessions. This enables you to start small with an effective outcome and move to the half an hour where you can be more immersed.
