Description
Yoritsuki is a software application whose theme is that of a Japanese inn.Guest room are richly imbued with Japanese atmosphere. The view changes completely with the turn of the four seasons.
As the seasons and daylight hours change, so do the background sounds and animations (birds, snow, fireflies and so on).
Choose your favorite shoji. Slide it as you like to alter the view.

the most beautiful of all my apps totally mesmerising - more more please just wanted to add - i thought this was beautiful before but now !!! i cant get over how lovely and elegant it is its my all timje favourite - a great reason to have a touch thank you guys and PLEASE keep up the good work xx
Exquisite graphics but too small again!
Like their Nib Clock (*ahem* which still needs a scale and calendar update!) this is gloriously animated, beautiful and much too small.
The problem is, aside from personal perference, that the screen resolution is much tighter than on a Mac or PC (something like 163 dpi vs 72 dpi - I forget exactly) and so whilst the designed screenshots here look super-glorius, on your iDevice much is lost. On top of that, the main garden animation is less than two-thirds the height of the already small screen. It's still great closeup in your hand but would be better being dock-friendly.
I would suggest and ask:
*For a zoom option - preferably clock-mode garden-view to full screen.
*For a portrait-rotation option - very useful for when vertically docked. Indeed this is likely to be the default orientation for the majority of people who would view this docked.
*For a clearer and larger font time-display - the inner shadowing effect on the time (when you double-touch the time) on a black background makes it hard to distinguish what the time is. This is especially true given the different screen angles and a short distance away you may have the docked device.

Nearly Perfect
I have been using this since it was first released on my iPhone 3G and have it installed on my iPad. It's an extremely well designed app, with incredible attention to detail. I particularly like the Spring setting with the Cherry Blossom.
What with it's relaxing background sounds (which are changeable) of Rain, Thunder, and even a bamboo water sluice, as well as numerous screens, mats, table, lantens and lights, you will be impressed with how far you can customise ti app.
My only disappointmrnt with this app is that after two years, their is still no iPad version, which would greatly benefit from the increased screen estate.
Hopefully, fingers crossed, the developer will release an iPad or universal version soon. I for one, would be happy to pay for an iPad version.
