This app creates an exciting new method of enjoying special moments with family and friends in York, and an opportunity to share your experiences on social media.

Spring has officially sprung in York, so let’s celebrate the season and discover some of the characters, animals and plants that make us think of Springtime. Do you think you can track them all down?
Join the search and seek out 7 virtual augmented reality seasonal scenes and characters along the way at different locations across the City. Use the map in this app to find and collect each one. We hope you have an egg-cellent time!
Travel Through Time

From Eboracum, to Jorvik, to York - Discover 2,000 years of the City’s history by exploring our York History Quest trail. Track down 8 augmented reality characters at historic locations in the City Centre by using the GPS-based map in this app, and learn more about the people and places that shaped our City through the centuries.
Freaky Fun Trail
Available from 17th October-13th November 2022
It’s officially spooky season in York and there’s something strange afoot! Join us on our terror-ific trail this Halloween and capture 7 fun and freaky augmented reality monsters, ghouls and other creepy characters at ghostly locations across the City Centre. Use the GPS enabled map in this app to discover each one, if you dare!
