Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner 4+

I don’t do reviews much as I can’t be bothered BUT I had to for Yuka. I eat well and use mostly natural products and well I thought certain items I purchased were okay good for you and beauty products I’m buying 98% natural hair shampoo or moisturiser, I then scan the item and am appalled of the nasties inside the products. It’s so bad how companies are lying to us about what’s in their products. I have scanned packaged food and am appalled at what I had in my cupboards. This app is my sidekick I like it for it listing the bad guys but it also tells you what is excellent or good and the best thing it gives you alternatives, a more healthier & chemical free nasty types. . I have been telling all my friends and family about this app and even made a tik tok video about it as its vital that people know about this app so we can all lead a healthier and happier lifestyle and hopefully companies will start Lying to us for profit. Honestly this app is worth a download I also and I don’t do this often but I paid a yearly subscription, they also give you an option on how much you want to pay minimum has to be at least £9 which is nothing considering what it does for you but subscribed I can use item without internet and and can type items in & it keeps the company going. I’m so grateful to the yuka team this is a blessing this app Thankyou

I have never written a review on an App as we take them for granted these days but hats off to these guys as this app is brilliant!!! I decided to subscribe for the annual membership which was very low cost and then I can search products off line at home before going shopping. It’s so simple to use it’s child’s play and the information is beautifully presented and with more detail if you need. I have already checked the regular products we use and each one is good/excellent which is so pleasing, particularly these days with so much processed products and hidden detail.

Let’s be real who really has time to read the small print in the stores. Well not anymore this App is truly amazing 10/10. I don’t write about apps ever but this lock down has made me very conscious about the foods we eat. I would like them to add one for Trans Fat as this has been banned in the US, and the same should happen here as it’s scientifically proven to cause heart conditions and obesity. Thanks guys very impressed and I don’t get impressed easily.

Use the app for both beauty and food items and when I say I am impressed, thats an understatement!!
I am able to find preety much all the items I am wanting to look up- either by way of their scanning search option or typing in search option- and I can not tell you how much it has helped me and my familys picks..invaluable guidance!!
Their customer service is also second to none- there is an option to email them in situations where any items ingredients have been updated/amended and every response from the team has been so quick, so friendly and I can tell they truly care in making the app accurate and as helpful as possible🙏Theres also an option to add a product which is an amazing way to check an item that is not on the database-which is rare because most I have searched for are on there- but if it isnt it comes back with a score super quickly! BIG BIG thank you💖
