I open an emergency account for my big brother as he was desperately needing a bank account for his benefits to go in to over Christmas… He got one cash withdrawal then cash plus froze his account you wanted ID verification witch is understandable.. my brother ID was limited we sent what we have I explained to Numerous time regarding his last name why it was McGregor on his passport and Christie on the other Id .. got passed from puller to post but 12 different employees of cash pluse .. still to this day he has no access to the account.. the account was ment to be getting closed his funds transferred to my account still waiting … he’s had no money since Christmas am just disgusted as a fellow cash pluse customer.. u have no idea the stress that this has caused my family as we have had to lend him hundreds of pound I definitely won’t recommend any one els to cash plus If I was able to take the one star away I would .. again still no money has been transferred to my account … my brother has had no money since December 2023 … I keep being lied to buy cashpluse staff .. this has been escalated iv been told this for months , now it’s gonna take 60 days to close the account for my venerable brother to be left with no money … no he can’t get any more of his benefits money because he dosent have a bank account… the guy is in crisis has been since December and cash plus won’t even emergency release a penny for him … disgusting bank - 80% of the customer service team have been as helpful as a chocolate tea pot .. I think iv spoken to 2 ppl that have actually been helpful Abbie was absolutely lovley the other guy I can remember his name . The rest are clowns wouldn’t recommend a disabled goldfish to this bank

Amazing and quick set up, no hidden or fake charges of any kind. Card arrived as promised by Cashplus and was able to activate and use account/card within moments. Overall they are a brilliant company who are here to genuinely help you. Yes we pay a small fee for the account but they definitely make it worth your while as also promised by Cashplus. They have already help my credit score by little yes. It I have only been a customer and using the accounts over the past week and it has managed to already make a difference so I would most DEFINITELY RECOMMEND CASHPLUS as the most reliable and trustworthy online banking service that has its customers at top priority not there own. Never had any issues and there is no way for Cashplus to damage or make your credit or banking account any worse they can and have proven to help its customers with dedicated staff members and I have already changed over nearly everything to Cashplus and fully intend on staying with the bank and leaving and shutting down all other accounts because they are the best bankings services I have seen and I can only in courage EVERYONE to apply and change your banking accounts to CASHPLUS 💯👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Locked Out Of My Own Money 8 Weeks And Counting

If you want a bank that allows you to actually access your money do not bank with Cashplus. After two days of my account being open and transferring everything to it, I was locked out but not notified. I found out a couple of days later and was told it was for security reasons but told nothing specific. Not only was my card frozen but my whole account and the only way to unlock it was to post (e-mailing is not permitted) several proofs of identity. It’s been a week now and after calling I’ve been told they still haven’t received my proofs. Whilst on the phone I was also notified that it can be up to 14 days to check the paperwork once received and if Cashplus are unhappy with it they can request more information with the account still locked. This is beyond unacceptable. If it weren’t for me having a side account with a small amount pocketed away, I would literally have no money available to me. Thanks Cashplus!Update: it’s been 8 weeks since Cashplus locked me out of the account. After finally unlocking it two weeks ago, I was informed you can’t make any online transfers without activating your card. A card I hadn’t had sent to me. Finally, I received my card, and until activating it… still couldn’t transfer money out. I called Cashplus and was told it can take up to 48 hours for the activation to go through. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. They just seem to be hell bent on keeping me out of my own funds and having checked their TrustPilot this is a common theme.

I applied for a business account, was accepted but immediately realised the account wasn’t suitable because of the inability to pay in cheques so I cancelled the account. Some six months later I attempted to open an account again. This time my application was rejected with no reason being given despite my circumstances not having changed. On phoning customer services I was told quite abruptly that cashplus didn’t have to give me a reason for refusing my application and that I should wait a few weeks then apply again. I duly reapplied a month or so later and was rejected again! All very strange considering I have a personal account with them! After I posted a critical review on trustpilot their customer services contacted me asking me for personal information which I provided , the result? Silence! Not a word from them since! Very poor unprofessional service from a company who wants to be entrusted with customers finances!
