Life Changing App

I’ve been a self employed electrician for 6 years, invoicing has been a constant job in the back of my mind “to do”.
For the first time, I’m up to date, sending invoices on time and as everyone should know: A timely invoice creates a timely payment.
The app has great, well thought out features such as a timer and log to keep track of where you’ve been and what you’ve used, this is then ported over to your invoice. Essentially, creating a job sheet automatically creates an invoice. No double handling, making my admin much more efficient.

You can then send an invoice from your phone or laptop and a reminder if required and then once paid, log the payment and send an automatic thank you.

During a COVID isolation period I tried out 6 invoicing apps and this was my last to try, it is hands down the best and totally free, honestly.

My next port of call is to try the ZOHO books and get ready for the MTD deadline.

Powerful app

Perfect for a small business owner. Creates professional invoices and stores data in an easy to find way. I am a mechanic and I can even search invoices by the registration of a vehicle if I put it in the description. I can also add users and track who has created each invoice which is useful especially when you need to trace mistakes to help teach staff.

The only part that is missing is the auto VAT calculation. I have to calculate and add it separately which is a bit of a stupid thing to overlook, especially when the other invoice generator app that Zoho makes calculates it automatically.

Regarding your request about automatic VAT calculation, we like to inform you that it is already supported in the Zoho Invoice IOS app. To calculate the VAT automatically, please ensure that the VAT is enabled in your organization. If not, please enable the VAT and then add the VAT rates for your organization. To configure VAT for your organization please follow the below steps,
• Tap More option
• Tap Settings
• Tap VAT Settings
• Enable Registered for VAT option and enter the VAT registration Number.
• Tap Save.
After doing this, to add a new tax rate, kindly follow the below mentioned steps,
• Tap More
• Tap Settings
• Tap VAT
• Tap VAT Rates
• Tap plus(+) icon in the top right corner of the page
• In the new VAT rate form, enter the VAT Name and Rate(%)
• Tap Save

Great App for running small business

Brilliant app. When we first signed up this was a paid for app. Later on Zoho made the Invoice App free. The features you get on a free app is amazing. You can log your invoices and track them to payments. You can even set up portal for your customers and integrate with payment portals. You can log your expenses to check your overall books. Love this app.
Improvements I can suggest are adding some more reporting facilities on the app. Although you can only get so much for free.
