We still get a nostalgic kick out of traditional, printed photos.

As much as we enjoy reliving memories of exciting weekends and happy holidays through the Photos app, immortalising these in physical form transforms your images into prized pictures. And for those looking to create their own custom photo album, it doesn't need to be a complex process.

By following these simple steps, FreePrints Photobooks can make the whole process pleasingly both easy and affordable.

1. Make your selections

Open the app, tap Get Started and you’ll be prompted to select the images you want adding to your album. You’ll need to select at least 20 images and, using the toggles at the top of the screen, choose whether to pull in snaps from Photos, those you’ve uploaded to your favourite social platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook, or from a variety of storage platforms including Dropbox and OneDrive.

Select your favourite photos from a range of sources.

2. Add a cover image

With your selected images auto-populating your album, the biggest decision you’ll have to make is what to have as your cover image. By tapping on the cover page you can pick from your marked existing image selections or choose any image from your albums.

Once your cover shot is in place, you’ll need to select the cover style you want – from standard full-page images to heart effects and mapped shots. You can also add an album header such as ‘Summer 2018’ or ‘Travels with bae’. And don’t forget to add an image to your album’s back cover too.

Make sure you nail that all important cover image.
