Augmented reality brings this otherworldy puzzler closer to home.
Euclidean Lands feels like one part board game and one part strategy game, taking place on top of a Rubik’s Cube.
For each of the 40 levels, the objective is to lead your hero to an exit. The trick is, you can only move one space at a time − and the surface you travel across is a floating cube that you twist, turn, and flip.
Beware! Some moves spring traps, others alert enemies. Every move you make manipulates the level you’re on. Getting out will require careful forward planning and strategy.
Entering the game’s AR mode by tapping the icon at the top right of the screen adds yet another dimension. If you’re using one of the newer iPhone or iPad models running iOS 11, you’ll see these captivating puzzles transported to the room you’re in, with each cube floating above your coffee table, desk, or floor.
Euclidean Lands has always been a game that encourages experimentation, so the arrival of AR expands this enchanting crusade further still.
