GAME
OF THE
DAY

Only adorable fury can stop Hamsterdam’s criminals.

Hamsterdam

Hamster. Kung Fu. Beat’em Up.

View

This is a fighting game with a couple of twists. The first is that the fighting in Hamsterdam is more about rhythm and timing than anything else.

The second, arguably bigger twist is that you play as a hamster fighting other small animals normally kept as pets.

This kung fu hamster will make you look at your pet in a very different way.

The town of Hamsterdam has been taken over by crime-boss chinchilla Marlo and his enforcers: a team of dastardly thugs including weasels, rats and bunny rabbits in suits.

Players step into the paws of the hamster Pimm – a martial-arts master – and combo punch and kick their way through the vile Vermin Gang. Mastering the combat requires players to time their swipes and taps on the screen perfectly.

In Hamsterdam, size isn’t everything.

Getting it right means building up combos and dealing more damage. It’s essential to become an expert too, as the enemies only get tougher. Soon they’re decked out in armour and wielding dangerous weapons.

Besting the baddies and winning all the optional challenges along the way will give you in-game currency to buy better gear for Pimm.

Hamsterdam is full to the brim with features to keep players coming back. There are bosses, stars to win for each level and the knowledge that you’re the baddest hamster to ever deliver a flying kick.
