Here’s a lovely idea: what if you brought together some of the App Store’s most popular game makers and asked them to make a silly mini-game compilation?

And then once you’ve got people’s attention, add in a way to donate to War Child quickly and easily through Apple Pay?

This is Help, in short – a five-game freebie made by the people behind games like Asphalt 9, Jelly Splash and Football Manager Mobile.

This matching game is made by Rovio, the minds behind Angry Birds.

In Rupert, you’re an elephant stomping around a shop full of delicate porcelain items trying to find items without breaking anything. Fifty Buddies is a weird kind of racing game where you try and keep 50 colourful blob-like dudes on the track, and Inish Ciub is a neat little puzzle game about growing plants in an angular garden.

There’s also Mediocre Housekeeping, where you swipe to lazily lob clothes onto shelves and pegs to get scored on your tidying up skills. Then there’s Tickets Please, in which you check the train tickets of increasingly grumpy commuters.

Doing household chores sloppily is the name of the game in Mediocre Housekeeping.

There are pop-ups to remind you to donate to War Child throughout, of course, but that’s fine by us – donating is never more than a few taps away with Apple Pay. If you’re feeling altruistic and want to have a little fun while you donate, Help is here to, um, help.
