Who would you rather have on your team when fighting off waves of evil robots – Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story or The Incredibles’ Elastigirl?
Well, you’d better start thinking about it, because your favourite Disney and Pixar characters are ready to rumble in Disney Heroes: Battle Mode.
Buzz Lightyear, Dash, Mr. Incredible and more team up for five-on-five fights against nefarious ninjas, robots and alternate-world versions of famous Disney characters.
As you’d expect from Disney, the animation is terrific – just watch Elastigirl streeetch to meet her enemies. And you’ll enjoy Battle Mode’s sounds as much as the sights: the electronica-inspired soundtrack is packed with glitchy blips and bloops.
It’s also good for short attention spans. Each level has three stages, and you have 90 seconds to clear each stage. To succeed against the game’s toughest foes, you’ll need to upgrade your team members and use their skills at just the right moment.
The chase for an ever-stronger team is your challenge. Watching as Woody, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps align to beat down ninjas? That’s your reward.
