Playtime is more dynamic than ever with CBeebies Get Creative. This magic app, pitched at children aged four and over, is fizzing with opportunities to make, design and do – teaching your kids valuable motor skills in the process.
Regular CBeebies viewers will recognise some of the cast: inquisitive inventors Bitz and Bob, pint-sized superheroes Go Jetters, and adorable pup Hey Duggee.
Each one wants to take you on an adventure. Tap a character and they’ll direct you to a carousel of different games. One lets you build your own silly toy – a couple of squiggly legs, mismatched shoes and a pair of very googly eyes, and you have yourself a new friend.
With Magic Paint you can create wild canvases, covered in technicolour splodges; and on Sound Doodles, every mark you make on the page will create a different noise.
Play Puppets is your child’s chance to create their own narrative: pick objects and characters to fill a scene, and move them around the screen to interact.
The app records your progress, so you can watch back your puppet show – and then start again, with a whole new cast of objects and animal friends.
