This week we’ve found the perfect apps to help you organise and edit those all-important documents, look after your Pokémon (also very important), learn Spanish through song and get the kids excited about code.
Pokémon HOME
From Pikachu to Snorlax, there’s now finally a place all of your Pokémon can call home. New app, Pokémon HOME brings your favourite Pokémon (collected across platforms) together so that you can store and manage them in one convenient place. Trade your Pokémon with others around the world, add to your Pokédex and search by ability, or receive mystery gifts to help you become the ultimate collector.
Microsoft Office
Microsoft has released Office to combine its Word, Excel and Powerpoint apps together, creating a single destination for the full suite of productivity tools.
You can store documents on iCloud and access them on the go, and all Office features are streamlined for mobile. It’s all here, from creating editable Word and Excel files from pictures of real-life documents to creating PowerPoints from your photos.
Lirica
Hola! Quieres aprender español? It’s never been easier, or more enjoyable to learn Spanish. Lirica is a fun app in which you learn the language through song lyrics.
Find lessons and songs curated to suit your ability from some of the best Latin artists in the industry. Collect discs as you learn songs, and grow your Spanish vocabulary and comprehension.
PJ Masks: Hero Academy
Animated superheroes PJ Masks bring you PJ Masks: Hero Academy. Learn something new with the app’s range of STEAM subjects (science, technology, engineering, art and maths) suited to children aged 4-7 years.
